In May 2019 a grant of €5,700 was given to St. Vincent Pallotti’s Initiative for People with Disabilities in Masaka, Uganda towards the Rehabilitation of Children suffering with Clubfoot.
The project which commenced in July 2019 was extended due to the Covid-19 pandemic and completed in November 2020. The objective was to provide surgery and other rehabilitation services to children with clubfoot. It involved facilitation for Orthopaedic and Physiotherapy clinics.
Acquisition and fitting of assistive devices.
Health talks and transport for surgeries.
In all the project received overwhelming support from the community and has benefitted fifteen children with club feet.
