In November 2016 a grant of €8,000 was approved for the renovation of three Rural Basic Schools in Bolgatanga, Ghana.
In the case of one school it was discovered at the outset that the walls were unable to withstand renovation. With the support of local manual labour a two classroom block was built though not painted yet. (Pictured below. Click to enlarge.)
In the case of a second school one classroom was renovated with a second classroom partitioned to form two new classrooms. (Pictured below. Click to enlarge.)
