The following projects were awarded grants in May 2012
1: An application for the purchase of a site and construction of a learning centre in Malawi was approved for the sum of €8,000.
2: The sum of €8,000 was approved for a solar lighting project at Archbishop Joseph Kiwanuka Memorial Primary School, Mpigi, Uganda.
3: The amount of €8,000 was approved foe a rain water harvesting project for St Francis Hospital, Buluba, Jinja, Uganda.
4: A project from Camara for the provision of computers and softwear was approved for 4 schools in Zambia was approved for €8,000.
5: The sum of €5,000 was approved for the Local Lives Foundation for the construction of two classrooms at Turkana, Primary School, Kenya.
6: Nyabera Community Development Network Sindo, Kenya was approved for a grant of €8,000 for a borehole installation project.
7: The application from St John’s School, Kumba, Cameroon for the purchase of Science Laboratory Equipment was approved for the sum of €8,000.
8: The amount of €8,000 was approved for renovation of the Children and Maternity wards at St Mechtilda Health Centre, Masaka.
