The following projects were awarded grants in May 2011
No.2612: A grant of €6,500 was approved for the purchase of furniture and computers for an orphanage in Lusaka, Zambia.
No.2623: A poultry project for TB patients at Nyabondo Mission Hospital, Sondu, Kenya was approved for a grant of €1,700.
No.2626: The sum of €4,800 was approved for an income Generating Nursery Project for small farmers in Faisalaabad, Pakistan.
No.2627: A grant of €8,000 was approved for equipment for Vocational Training at the Don Bosco Technical Centre, Tamil Nadu, India.
No.2628: The sum of €3,500 was approved for the renovation of the children’s ward at St. Francis Nyenga Hospital , Jinja, Uganda.
No.2629: Approval was given to grant the sum of €2,100 for the construction of pit latrines at a Children’s and Orphans Centre at Kampala, Uganda.
No.2631: €6,700 was approved for an animal raising scheme for twenty women for the Rural Development Organisation at Faisalabad, Pakistan. (Pictures below, please click to see in larger size.)
o.2641: €4,000 was approved for furniture and fittings at the Ave Maria Healing Centre, Antigue, Philippines.
