The following projects were awarded grants in March 2011
No. 2512: A grant of €7,300 was approved for the purchase of furniture for a Kindergarten in Khanh Hoa province, Vietnam.
No. 2609: The sum of €4,200 was approved for the rehabilitation and purchase of essential equipment and furniture at the Queen of the Holy Rosary School in Bo, Sierra Leone.
No. 2611: €3,500 was approved for Health and Social Services for five poor communities in Yangon, Myanmar.
No. 2615: €6,500 was approved for an Agricultural Project at Arua in Uganda. This will help poor families to improve family income.
No.2616: A grant of €6,750 was approved for the purchase of an Ultrasound machine at a clinic in Ozoro, Nigeria.
No. 2617: Civil El Arco, Buenos Aires, Argentina was approved for a grant of €5,000 for a “Children’s Education Through Art” project.
No. 2620: The sum of €7,600 was approved for the purchase of kitchen, office and orthopaedic equipment for a clinic in Lima, Peru.
No. 2621: A grant of €3,500 was approved for a drainage scheme at a community compound at Mombasa, Kenya.
No. 2622: €3,000 was approved for a “Women Empowering Project” at Molo, Kenya.
No.2625: The charity organization ZAMDA was approved for a grant of €6,000 for the building of a school in Kongomba, Zambia.
