The following projects were awarded grants in May 2013
No.2793: This application for the construction of two classrooms at Kadongo Primary School, Sindo, Kenya was approved for a grant of €6,000.
No.2754: A project to provide 5 desktop computers and teacher training for St Antonia Trade School , Mbeya was approved for a grant of €1,000.
No.2797: The Committee approved a grant of €5,000 for the renovation of a Boy’s Hostel at St. Therese Parish, Champira Mzimba, Malawi.
No.2696: The Committee decided to award a further grant of €1,000 for St Anthony’s Middle School, Killukottai, Tamil Nadu, India in order to complete the repair and painting project.
No.2802: A project for the provision of desks and benches at the Infant Jesus High School, Maravanur, Manaparai, Tamil Nadu, India was approved for a grant of €3,000.
No.2805: The committee approved the sum of €2,500 for the renovation of two water tanks at Bashay Parish, Arusha, Tanzania.
No.2806: A project to provide latrines for Konzendo Primary School, Tyolo District, Malawi was approved for the sum of €8,000.
No.2809: A project for the completion of a classroom block at St. Mary’s Secondary School in Magoma, Kibaale District, Uganda was approved for the sum of €5,000.
No.2820: A project to equip the Nairobi Institute of Information & Communication Technology with computers to include training and technical support was approved for €4,800. The project will be implemented by CAMARA.
