The following projects were awarded grants in January 2014
No. 2849: An Application from EACH Faisalabad, Pakistan for the purchase of furniture for a Sewing Centre at Faisalabad was approved for the sum of €4,500.
No. 2850: The sum of €5,000 was approved for the purchase of water tanks for Masimbwe Secondary School, Njombe, Tanzania.
No. 2851: The Committee approved the sum of €7,500 for the purchase of water tanks for Our Lady of Nativity Health Centre, Bisanje, Masaka, Uganda.
No. 2852: A project for construction of cement water storage tanks at St. Aloysius Primary School, Wakiso, Uganda was approved for €5,280.
No. 2853: The amount of €6,800 was approved for completion of an 8 classroom block for Broadway Day and Nursery School, Masaka, Uganda
No. 2857: The Committee approved the sum of €4,500 for the provision of toilets and school desks for MPOKO BAC Primary School, Bangui, Central African Republic.
No. 2859: The application from the Holy Faith Sisters for the Installation of a Solar System in St Mary Magdalene Primary School, Eastern Equatoria, South Sudan was approved for the sum of €6,000.
No. 2860: A Rain Water recycling project for Our Lady of Assumption Primary School, Port –au- Prince, Haiti was approved for the sum of €8,000.
No. 2861: A once off grant of €3,000 was approved for construction of a community care centre at Phalombe, Malawi for Machemba, Community Based Organisation.
No. 2864: A project for the construction of a girls’ Hostel at Kibogora, Secondary School, Ngara District, Tanzania was approved for the sum of €5,200.
No. 2874: The Committee approved the sum of €7,000 for a training project at St Claire of Assisi, Turkana, Homecraft, Centre, Turkana, Kenya.
