The following projects were awarded grants in March 2015
No.2935: The sum of €8,000 was granted for this project to supply a generator to St Francis Training Centre, Mbarara, Uganda
No.2939: A grant of €7,500 for the provision of catering equipment at the Franciscan Training School, Alaba, Lagos was approved.
No.2941: The sum of €5,700 was approved for Ablution Blocks and Benches for a children’s park for Valoyi Centre, Nuamitwai, on behalf of the Valoyi Trust.
No.2946: An application from EACH for a project Empowering Women through skill training in running a sowing centre, Faisalabad, Pakistan was approved for the sum of €4,000.
No.2948: The Committee approved the sum of €4,600 for a Literacy and IT Skills project for Secondary School Girls, Lagos, Nigeria for AFARA (Reading For All)
No.2949: An application from the Sisters of Our Lady of the Missions for Support for People with Disabilities, Machakos, Kenya was approved for a grant of €6,300.
