The following projects were awarded grants in January 2015
No.2836: A rain water harvesting project at Kwaludge, Tanzania was approved for a grant of €6,000.
No.2928: The sum of €8,000 was approved for a Vocational training Project for young adults with intellectual disabilities, Cebu, Philippines.
No. 2929: The provision of furniture for a Creche and staff training at Joao Pessoa, Paraiba, Brazil was approved for a grant of €2,400.
No. 2930: A beekeeping project for the Association for Women’s Education and Development (AWED), Tamil Nadu, India was approved for a grant of €6,000.
No. 2931: The construction of a water tank, installation of pumps and pipelines at Puma Parish, Singida, Tanzania was approved for a grant of €8,000.
No. 2932: A post harvest support project for the provision of grain storage bins to poor smallholder farmers in the Qoryoley District, Somalia was approved for a grant of €6,000.
No. 2933: A wheelchair manufacturing project for disabled children at the Lake Victoria Disability Centre in Musoma, Tanzania was approved for the sum of €7,500.
No. 2934: The renovation of a wheelchair workshop at Bo City, Sierra Leone was approved for a grant of €4,500.
No. 2938: The purchase of medical equipment for the Holy Innocent Health Centre, Mbale, Uganda was approved for the sum of €7,300.
