The following projects were awarded grants in January 2016
No. 2972: An application for a spring water protection project at St Joseph The Worker Home for Mentally Challenged at Kakamega, Kenya was approved for the sum of €8,000.
No. 2974: A Community safe water project at Kitale, Kenya was approved for the sum of €7,000.
No. 2981: A project for renovation of a Secondary School in Nairobi, Kenya was approved for the sum of €7,500.
No. 2984: The sum of €7,500 was granted for the renovation of the Dispensary Building at Goima, Kondoa District, Tanzania.
No. 2987: Queen of Peace Integrated Farm, Arua, Uganda was awarded a grant of €8,000 for the purchase of various items of agricultural equipment, stock, irrigation equipment and repair of fences.
No. 2990: The project submitted for a Maize Grinding Mill at Saligini Village, Malawi was approved for the sum of €2,600.
No. 2993: The Purchase of Benches and Tables for Annai Children’s Orphanage, Tamil Nadu, India was approved for the sum of €5,000.
No. 2994: An application for the construction of Toilets for Girls at St Mary’s School, Geddalahalli, Bangalore, India was approved for the sum of €5,000.
No. 2995: A project for improving access to Health Care Services for Rural People at Ngonyek, Kitale, Kenya was approved for €6,400.
No. 2996: The project to provide for rain water harvesting and storage at BISAYU Primary School and neighbouring Community, Rwanda was approved for €7,000.
No. 2997: The construction of toilets and sanitary facilities at Paidha Zumbo Centre , Nebbi, Uganda was approved for €6,000.
No. 2999: A project for the renovation of a short stay centre and hall at Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India was approved for €4,000.
