The following projects were awarded grants in March 2016
No. 2978: The sum of €7,000 was approved for the construction of three classrooms and a rehabilitation project at Muyogoro, Primary School, Bujumbura, Burundi.
No. 2991: A project for completion of a girl’s dormitory and matron’s room at St Monica Primary school, Nebbi, Uganda was approved for the sum of €7,000.
No. 2992: A project for rainwater harvesting at Kizito Primary School, Kenya was approved for the sum of €7,000.
No. 2998: The committee approved the sum of €4,500 for a solar lighting system at a Montessori Centre, Lahore, Pakistan.
No. 3001: An application for the provision of a Potable Water Drinking Water structure at St. Mary’s School, Dingidul, South India, was approved for the sum of €3,3000.
No. 3002: An application for the installation of rainwater facilities at Butete School Group and community, Ruhengerai, Rwanda was approved for the sum of €7,000.
No. 3003: An application for construction of toilets and showers at St Mary’s school, Niger State, Nigeria was approved for the sum of €8,000.
No. 3007: The application for the construction of a Kitchen and Store room at St Mary’s Middle School, Tamil Nadu was approved for the sum of €7,000.
No. 3009: The sum of €5,000 was approved for the renovation of the bakery at St Mary’s Children’s Home, Sierra Leone.
No. 3010: The sum of €8,000 was approved for the supply of furniture and equipment for the maternity unit of Chiosya Health Centre, Chimteka, Malawi.
No. 3012: The sum of €7,500 was approved for the supply and installation of a solar lighting system at Lituhi Health Centre, Mbinga Tanzania.
