In September 2016 the Fund approved a grant of €5,700 for the provision of water tanks and gutters at St. Francis Rehabilitation Centre, Soroti District, Uganda. The Centre renders short term centre based care rehabilitation services to it’s clients as well as residential services to some more of it’s clients who are studying in the nearby primary and secondary schools within the Centre. In 2016 there were 35 girls and 25 boys in residence.
The project which was satisfactorily completed not only benefits the clients and staff of the centre but also it’s immediate neighbours.
